TIMLAR is a personal safety app. A person starts a session, and the people they trust follow along from a simple link. It is in testing now on iPhone and Android, and we are looking for organisations that want to help us keep it affordable.
What TIMLAR does for your members
A member starts a session when they want someone looking out for them. Their trusted people see their state and location live from a secure link, with no app needed on their side. The member ends the session when they are safe.
- Sharing only happens during a session, never always-on.
- Each person chooses who receives the link and can revoke it at any time.
- The app does not contact emergency services, and says so clearly.
Why we are looking for partners
Running TIMLAR costs money: servers, maps, text messages and notifications. We want TIMLAR to cover its costs and nothing more, so that safety does not depend on who can pay.
Partners help us keep the core safety features free. We have not fixed a price list, and we would rather talk first.
